WCSO honors Pamela Hodges for 24 years of service

The Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office recognized Honorary Captain Pamela Hodges during Women’s History Month for her exceptional service to the detention facility and the citizens of Wakulla County. Pamela began her career on January 12, 1987, as a Corrections Officer and served through June 2011, dedicating over 24 years to the agency.

She held dual roles as a Corrections Officer and nurse, rising to the rank of Lieutenant. In 2017, Sheriff Jared Miller presented her with the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches Silver Star Society Award for 15 years of support to the Youth Ranch.
