A Florida hospital has filed a lawsuit against a patient who allegedly refused to leave the facility months after being discharged.
According to Fox 8 Live, Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare filed the complaint earlier this month. The hospital stated that the patient was admitted for treatment but was later medically cleared and no longer required hospital services. The patient was officially discharged on October 6, 2025.
However, according to the filing, the individual has remained inside the hospital for approximately five months since that date.
