New murals set for Tallahassee Southside are bringing ‘new energy’ to the community

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Tallahassee’s Southside is getting more colorful thanks to new murals being funded in part by the city’s tax dollars.

In a partnership between Knight Creative Communities Initiative (KCCI), City of Tallahassee Frenchtown/Southside Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) and SoMo Walls, 8 large-scale murals are being set up along the South Monroe Street corridor, per a press release.
