The FSU football fans seem split between who they want to be the QB1 in 2026. Some fans want redshirt freshman Kevin Sperry to be the guy since the last two transfer quarterbacks haven’t lived up to expectations. Realistically, I think most hope it’s a legitimate competition and the best man wins, and I agree with that sentiment.
FSU added Auburn backup quarterback Ashton Daniels from the transfer portal in December. Daniels started at Stanford for a couple of years before transferring to Auburn.
He’s who I would choose to be the starter in 2026, simply because he has lots of experience, a skillset that could be similar to Jordan Travis, and seems less likely to get injured…
