TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – A juvenile suspect has been arrested in connection with a series of vehicle thefts and attempted thefts in a Leon County neighborhood, according to the Leon County Sheriff’s Office.
On March 24, Leon County Sheriff’s Office Property Crimes Unit detectives arrested the suspect after receiving several reports over the weekend of vehicles stolen or attempted to be stolen in the Sandstone Ranch neighborhood off Highway 20. Detectives identified the juvenile as being involved during their investigation, and the suspect admitted to involvement in multiple vehicle thefts, as well as a separate vehicle burglary that occurred earlier this month.
The juvenile was charged with two counts of grand theft of a motor vehicle, four counts of attempted grand theft of a motor vehicle, one count of burglary of a conveyance and one count of petit theft. The suspect was booked into the Juvenile Assessment Center…
