Woman found not guilty in brutal murder case, hearing set to discuss potential release from mental health facility

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – In just over a month, a hearing will determine if a woman who was charged with killing her mother should remain in a mental health facility.

Earleen Tucker was found not guilty by reason of insanity in November, according to court documents.

Those documents revealed Tucker is “diagnosed as having a major mental illness” and was “insane at the time of the offense.”…
