New Jersey defensive back hoping to schedule an official visit with Florida State following his Monday visit

TALLAHASSEE — West Orange (N.J.) Seton Hall Prep defensive back Taylor Daniels made his way to Florida State on Monday for a visit.

“It was an amazing experience being able to see the guys, seeing the energy, being able to see it in real time. They’re all characters. They’re all great guys,” Daniels said. “I was able to see just not from like a mental standpoint, but being able to see them physically, where I stand as a DB, and how their system, how their scheme is. So it was a great day today. Ultimately, great day.”

FSU, who offered Daniels in September of 2025, likes the 5-foot-10, 174-pound defensive back as a safety. Daniels had dealt the most with assistant defensive backs coach Greg Moss some prior to his Monday visit. Monday provided a chance for him to connect a great deal with safeties coach Evan Cooper and see him, and his players, in action during a spring practice…
