LEON COUNTY, Fla. — A Leon County homeowner shot an intruder during a residential break-in, and deputies later arrested the suspect after he was released from the hospital.
The Leon County Sheriff’s Office said deputies identified and arrested 42-year-old Scott Scruggs following an investigation. Scruggs faces charges of burglary of a structure while armed and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
