Florida A&M athletic director calls on Rattlers alumni for financial support

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Florida A&M University’s new athletic director is asking Rattlers alumni and fans to help financially support the school’s sports programs as college athletics grows more competitive and costly.

John Davis, in his first year leading FAMU athletics, said he wants to encourage 75,000 alumni to donate $100 annually to the athletic program. Davis said the money is needed in part because facilities require upgrades.
