WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) – A man is behind bars after a traffic stop led to the discovery of numerous drugs, including meth and fentanyl, according to the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office.
Jason Sousa was taken into custody on three active failure to appear warrants and charged with possession of fentanyl, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and driving while license suspended or revoked, per WCSO.
Sousa was arrested on April 10 after a traffic stop on the 500 block of Spring Creek Highway, officials say. Law enforcement saw Sousa driving before the stop, and were aware he was driving without a valid license while having warrants out for his arrest.
During the search of his vehicle, law enforcement say they discovered “a syringe containing a clear substance, a brown zipper pouch labeled “Jason” containing additional syringes, and a container in the center console containing a white crystal-like substance consistent with methamphetamine.”…
