Former Florida State pitcher had a masterful performance for Double-A Affiliate

Florida State baseball had plenty of talent last year, but it ran into a buzz saw when playing Oregon State in the Super Regionals on the road. It was a shame since the squad had high expectations to make a deep run in Omaha.

Head coach Link Jarrett knew that he had a team capable of achieving the program’s coveted first national championship. It is a shame that Florida State always falls into bad luck when in the postseason (life without Myles Bailey this season after the injury).

The pitching staff has been solid with Wes Mendes and Trey Beard, but once the starters get pulled, the bullpen hasn’t been reliable. That is the nature of college baseball with having limited arms.
