TALLAHASSEE, Florida — Firefighters from the Tallahassee Fire Department (TFD) responded to an apartment fire early Tuesday morning on Jackson Bluff Road.
At approximately 3 a.m. on May 12, 2026, TFD was dispatched to the 2300 block of Jackson Bluff Road, where they found smoke and fire emanating from a second-floor apartment, according to a press release from the department. Firefighters arrived on the scene in under five minutes, quickly entering the building to initiate fire suppression and conduct searches of the affected area.
