TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A motorcyclist was arrested Wednesday after he was caught “splitting lanes” in a work zone on Interstate 75 and later crashed while trying to evade troopers, according to an arrest report.
The Florida Highway Patrol said a trooper was traveling north on I-75 at mile marker 262 when a motorcyclist was seen “splitting lanes” and passing stopped traffic.
The trooper activated the patrol car’s lights to try to pull the motorcyclist over, but the driver “continued to operate his motorcycle in a reckless manner,” an arrest report said…
