TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa police detectives are piecing together the details of a fatal shooting that left one man dead after an alleged armed confrontation inside a vehicle early Sunday morning.
The incident unfolded just after 12:30 a.m. on July 5, when Tampa police officers were called to the 8400 block of North Armenia Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male who had suffered a gunshot wound and had been driven to that location. Emergency responders transported the man to a local hospital, where medical staff later pronounced him dead.
