Hillsborough County Traffic Alert: Late-Night Lane Closures Set To Hit Key Roads Next Week

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Drivers traveling through Hillsborough County next week should prepare for overnight delays as crews conduct roadwork across several major interstates and state routes.

The Florida Department of Transportation District 7 released its construction schedule covering Sunday, July 26, through Saturday, August 1, detailing planned lane closures across interstates I-75 and I-275, along with primary routes including US 301, US 41, and State Road 60.

Commuters crossing Tampa Bay will see nightly closures on both major bridges. The I-275 Howard Frankland Bridge will undergo lane reductions from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Saturday.
