PLANT CITY, Fla. (WFLA) — The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that took place overnight on Saturday at a nightclub in Plant City.
Deputies were called to the El Diamante club at around 2:15 a.m. on July 25, and found a person dead in the street.
The victim had sustained a gunshot wound, HCSO said. The person who shot them remained on scene and is cooperating with detectives as they conduct an investigation.
As law enforcement works to clear the scene, the intersection of Charlie Taylor Road and East U.S. Highway 92 is closed. Drivers are asked to find alternate routes for the time being…
