The list of big names arriving in Hyde Park Village is continuing to grow. Ralph Lauren today unveiled and officially opened its new Tampa storefront at 1609 W Snow Ave, next to Buddy Brew.
The return to Hyde Park “invites customers to step into the immersive world of Ralph Lauren,” where the coastal-inspired storefront showcases an assortment of Ralph Lauren’s Women’s Collection, Men’s Purple Label and Men’s and Women’s Polo Ralph Lauren.
Every Ralph Lauren store is different and uniquely designed to fit the city. Located within walking distance of Tampa’s waterfront, this new store “draws design inspiration from the sleek yachts and sailboats moored at the nearby marinas.” The store even features a vintage 35 ft. racing scull from the company’s private collection, which was famously suspended from the ceiling as a key design feature in Ralph Lauren’s original Polo Sport store to complement the brand’s athletic and preppy aesthetic
Warm cherry wood and crisp white painted millwork, accented with brass hardware, are set against a refined backdrop that flows through the space. Bright white paneling and light maple wood floors reflect natural light on two sides of the store, creating an airy, coastal feel. The suspended racing scull with oars reinforces the nautical spirit, while “bespoke decorative accessories, layered area rugs and curated art come together to express the timeless elegance of Ralph Lauren.”…
