Pasco County Fire Rescue is throwing open the doors of its newest station in Wesley Chapel, and the timing couldn’t matter more to a community that has spent years growing faster than its emergency services could keep up. Station 2, located at 32134 Wesley Chapel Blvd., holds its grand opening this Friday at 4 p.m., with families invited to meet first responders and tour the facility firsthand.
The open house marks the public debut of a project years in the making, according to a Pasco County, Florida, Government announcement on Facebook. Fire Rescue officials describe Station 2 as a brand-new service area built to support one of the county’s fastest-growing communities, and attendees at Friday’s event will be able to explore the new engine bays and speak directly with the crews who will staff them.
