TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — New video shows the $100 million South Howard Flood Relief Project in action. The City of Tampa released the video Monday, days before an important discussion on the project.
The video shows flood waters draining out faster, and city leaders said if this was in place during a Hurricane Milton-like event, there would be a 70% reduction in structural flooding. Some call the video “pretty,” but they don’t trust that’ll be the reality of the project.
