Polk County Drug Ring Smashed: 39 Arrested In Massive ‘Operation End Of Worlds’ Bust

LAKELAND, Fla. – A massive undercover drug investigation has taken down a major narcotics ring in Polk County, leading to 39 arrests and the seizure of pounds of illicit fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine, authorities announced.

The multi-agency effort, dubbed “Operation End of Worlds,” was led by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force in partnership with the Auburndale Police Department and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

Investigators seized 4.4 pounds of fentanyl, 2.2 pounds of methamphetamine, 1.5 pounds of cocaine, 7.8 pounds of marijuana, two firearms, and roughly $4,650 in cash. In total, prosecutors filed 249 felony and 42 misdemeanor charges…
