HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — A multi-agency law enforcement sweep over Labor Day weekend led to 27 DUI arrests across Hillsborough County roads and waterways, officials announced.
The targeted enforcement effort was led by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in partnership with the Tampa Police Department, the Plant City Police Department, and the University of South Florida Police Department. The joint operation aimed to detect and remove impaired drivers during one of the busiest holiday travel weekends of the year.
