Suspect dies after Wesley Chapel standoff that injured a bondsman and deputies

WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. — A man wanted on a lewd and lascivious battery charge died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound after an armed standoff at the Enclave Apartments in Wesley Chapel.

A bail bondsman was critically injured in the standoff, and two Pasco Sheriff’s deputies suffered minor injuries.

According to the Pasco Sheriff’s Office, the incident began around 12:58 a.m. when three bail bondsmen went to the apartment of Henry Josena, 29, after Sheriff Chris Nocco said he failed to appear in court on a lewd and lascivious battery charge…
