Trunk-Or-Treats, Tail-Wags, And Ollies: Hillsborough County Goes All Out For Halloween

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — Families, skaters, and even pets will have plenty of ways to celebrate Halloween this month without spending a dime.

Hillsborough County Parks & Recreation announced a full lineup of free, community-focused events running through October 31. The department encouraged residents to “put on your scariest, cutest, silliest, or best costume” and take part in activities planned across neighborhood centers and public parks.

The schedule begins with two adaptive dances organized specifically for adults with disabilities. The first, titled “Night of Sparks,” takes place on Oct. 9 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Keystone Park & Recreation Center. A second dance, “Ball 4 All,” follows on Oct. 23 during the same evening hours at the Brandon Park & Recreation Center. Attendees are invited to wear costumes and take to the dance floor…
