RIVERVIEW, Fla. – A former Riverview High School student faces felony charges after authorities say she used an AI-altered image to frame a classmate for making threats against the campus.
Deputies with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office were called to Riverview High School on Oct. 14, 2026, after school administrators received an email warning of a possible attack. The message contained a screenshot of an Instagram post that appeared to show a male student threatening a mass shooting at the school.
