Ferguson, the Fortune 500 plumbing and HVAC supply giant, is getting ready to begin construction on its leased office space inside Gasworx, the sprawling mixed-use development bridging Ybor City and downtown Tampa. The company signed its lease this summer, and is now preparing for the buildout phase as the building itself nears completion.
The news was reported Wednesday by Tampa Bay Business Journal, in an article authored by editor at large Ashley Gurbal Kritzer. Ferguson’s commitment covers approximately 50,570 square feet in the six-story office and retail building, according to a release from KETTLER, the Gasworx developer. Combined with a previously announced commitment from Grow Financial, Ferguson’s lease brings the building to full office occupancy, per the same release.
The building itself is under construction by Moss, with design work from S9 Architecture and Smallwood, KETTLER’s announcement notes. It’s expected to be completed in December, though the exact date within the month hasn’t been specified. Ferguson plans to begin occupying its new space in April 2027.
