13 Indicted by Feds in Pasco Drug Bust

LAND O’ LAKES — Federal agents say they’ve broken up a drug ring that was selling cocaine and methamphetamines in the Tampa Bay area for as much as ten years.

Thirteen people in Florida and Puerto Rico are facing charges in an operation that ended with raids in Pasco County last week, and 12 are under arrest.

Federal prosecutors say seven of the 13 suspects are related, including the mothers of the two alleged ringleaders.

The FBI says law enforcement discovered the operation when postal authorities intercepted a package of cocaine mailed from Puerto Rico two years ago. Agents conducted a raid at a house off State Road 52 in Hudson, as well as at least one other location. While it may not be a huge bust compared to some others, FBI Special Agent in Charge David Walker says the shutdown of this operation brings significant impact on surrounding communities.

The chart of suspects and charges below is provided by the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Middle District of Florida.
