Man killed in shooting at ‘Twilight Zone’ liquor store, Hillsborough deputies say

PLANT CITY, Fla. (WFLA) — A shooting at a Plant City liquor store claimed a man’s life early Saturday morning, authorities said.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said it learned of a shooting at the Twilight Zone Liquor Store on State Road 60 at 3:54 a.m.

Upon arrival, deputies found Pablo Torres Orozco, 32, suffering from a gunshot wound. First responders took the victim to a hospital for treatment, but he died from his injuries, the sheriff’s office said.

“Our hearts ache for this family for their lost loved one over senseless violence,” Sheriff Chad Chronister said. “Our detectives are gathering every piece of information to find what led to this crime. We are committed to bringing justice to the victim and his family and finding who is responsible for this tragic loss of life.”
