Plant City, FL – In the early hours of February 3, 2024, a tragic event unfolded in the parking lot of The Twilight Zone Lounge in Plant City, leading the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) to launch a comprehensive homicide investigation. The incident, which culminated in the death of a 32-year-old man, has shaken the local community and spurred law enforcement into action.
At approximately 3:54 a.m., a distressing 911 call reported that an unidentified assailant had fired shots, striking an adult male. Responding swiftly to the scene, deputies discovered Pablo Torres Orozco suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the immediate efforts to save his life, Orozco was transported to a local hospital where he was ultimately pronounced dead.
“Our hearts ache for this family for their lost loved one over senseless violence,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “Our detectives are gathering every piece of information to find what led to this crime. We are committed to bringing justice to the victim and his family and finding who is responsible for this tragic loss of life.”
