Hillsborough County, FL. – A devastating incident on the evening of December 19, 2023, has led to the arrest of Tamra Warden, 34, following a fatal traffic collision that resulted in the death of a pedestrian in Thonotosassa, Hillsborough County. The collision, which occurred at the intersection of Harney Road and Williams Road at 8:45 p.m., claimed the life of 30-year-old Sabrina Rohrback.
Rohrback was walking along the northeast paved shoulder of Harney Road when Warden, driving under the influence with a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 0.14, lost control of her vehicle. The car veered off the roadway, onto the dirt shoulder, and fatally struck Rohrback. Despite the immediate life-saving attempts by the Hillsborough County Fire Rescue, Rohrback was pronounced dead at the scene.
“This case is disappointing and heartbreaking on so many levels,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “An innocent woman was killed because of someone’s recklessness, and a three-year-old could have been seriously injured. I am proud of the thorough investigation conducted by our detectives and hope that this arrest can bring some source of healing to the family impacted by this tragedy.”
