Tampa elementary students surprised for perfect attendance by Dunkin’

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Two students at West Shore Elementary School received a surprise from Dunkin’ and their mascot, Sprinkles, for their perfect attendance.

On Wednesday, the students received a Dunkin’ swag bag and tickets to the Savannah Bananas baseball game for them and their families.

West Shore Elementary has been celebrating and rewarding the students each month for coming to school in hopes of encouraging attendance. The parents of those students are also rewarded and are entered into a drawing for a special prize.

The two students chosen this month had perfect attendance and zero tardies. The students and their classmates were surprised with donuts and a visit from Sprinkles.

Dunkin’ is the official coffee and donut for the Savannah Bananas, a professional baseball team based in Savannah, Georgia, who’ve become popular for their in-game entertainment, including backflipping, playing in kilts, and dancing.
