Five-star safety DJ Pickett announced his top five schools on Friday. The 6-foot-3, 170-pound safety is from Zephyrhills, Florida.
Pickett’s top five schools are Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Oregon, and LSU.
Pickett is the No. 7 overall prospect and No. 1 safety in the class of 2025. He ranks as the No. 1 player in Florida, according to the On3 industry rankings .
Over the past two seasons, Pickett has recorded 70 total tackles, two tackles for loss, five interceptions, and three pass breakups. He finished his junior season with 52 receptions for 1,033 receiving yards and 15 receiving touchdowns as he played wide receiver and defensive back.
Pickett earned MaxPreps Sophomore All-American honors and was named a Preseason Junior All-American ahead of last season.
