Intensified Search for Missing 14-Year-Old in Pasco County

Pasco County, FL – is rallying together as local law enforcement intensifies its search for Zain Tamayo, a 14-year-old reported missing under circumstances that suggest he may have run away. Zain was last seen in the late afternoon of February 10, around 4 p.m., in the vicinity of Plathe Rd. in New Port Richey, sparking immediate concern for his safety and well-being.

Described as standing 5’7” tall and weighing around 120 lbs., Zain has black hair, brown eyes, and was last observed wearing a white jacket, gray or black sweatpants, and white Crocs. The specifics of his last known outfit have been circulated in hopes that members of the public might recognize him and provide leads to his current location.

The Pasco Sheriff’s Office is leading the search, deploying resources and calling upon the community to aid in locating Zain. Given his young age and the vulnerability associated with being away from home, finding him swiftly is of the utmost priority for both his family and law enforcement.
