TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — World of Beer Bar & Kitchen, a Tampa founded restaurant filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy to eliminate outstanding debts.
According to Restaurant Business Magazine the restaurants have been struggling post-pandemic. The environment has changed for dining since the pandemic hit, and it has caused locations to close.
World of Beer locations that have been affected by this, or the locations that have done well have not been specified.
14 locations have been closed over the last 12 months before WOB filed for bankruptcy, Tampa Bay Business Journal said.
The restaurant chain plans on expanding their footprint by adding new locations despite filing for bankruptcy.
