Man dies after being pulled from water in St. Pete Beach

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A man died Wednesday after he was pulled from the water in St. Pete Beach, according to officials.

A man was seen floating in the water in the area of 4700 Gulf Boulevard. Bystanders pulled the man out of the water, and deputies began life-saving measures, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.

The man was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to the sheriff’s office.
