Elevated rain chances today and Thursday

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The onshore wind and stalled frontal boundary draped over the Tampa Bay area will lead to widespread passing downpours along and south of I-4 throughout the day.

Showers and thunderstorms will drift from west to east with a 60% rain chance through the evening. It will still be hot and muggy with temperatures in the low 90s, outside of any showers.
