TAMPA, Fla. – A dog found abandoned in someone’s yard is now receiving the love and support he deserves, and it’s all thanks to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. The shelter took in one-year-old Korey, who they said spent much of his life in a small wire crate without a way to escape or survive. This caused him to suffer from painful urine burns on his paw pads, severe muscle atrophy and extreme malnutrition.
