TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA)— The Tampa Police Department is asking the community to help identify an armed suspect in a robbery at the Barrymore Hotel.
According to TPD, on July 30 at around 4 a.m., the suspect was seen climbing over the reception counter and going through the cash register.
Police said the suspect was seen removing cash from the register and confronted by the employees where he threw cash at them before pulling out a knife.
The suspect left on a bicycle wearing dark clothes and a backpack.
The Tampa Police Department asked the community to call the non-emergency number or share a tip on the TampaPD app.
