Buccaneers’ Jalen McMillan Appears To Troll Ex-Wolverine With Ohio State Themed TD Celebration

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won a 37-20 opening weekend game over the Washington Commanders in central Florida on Sunday in what was a showcase game for veteran QB Baker Mayfield and rookie second overall pick Jayden Daniels.

The wide receivers and defensive backs also took center stage at various moments throughout the game, including former Washington Huskies star and third round pick Jalen McMillan, who scored the first touchdown from an ex-Huskies player in 2024.

McMillan’s touchdown was made even sweeter based on one of Commanders defensive backs he beat for the score: rookie Mike Sainristil, who ended McMillan’s team’s national championship hopes with a national title game sealing interception this past winter.

Was the ex-Huskies star waiting to exact revenge on the ex-Michigan rookie Sainristil?

It seemed that way as McMillan appeared to taunt Sainristil with an ‘O-H’ gesture after scoring his first career NFL touchdown, in reference to the Wolverines’ arch-rival Ohio State Buckeyes.
