TAMPA, Fla. – Hurricane Helene caused classes to be canceled at schools across Tampa Bay as it brought destructive wind, rain and storm surge. Every Tampa Bay-area district lost at least one day of school due to the storm. As recovery efforts begin, school officials have begun announcing when those days will be made up this semester.
