Finding Light in Tragedy: Community Leaders Supporting Recovery After Disaster

BLOOM (TAMPA) – In times of tragedy, light often emerges in the form of neighbors helping neighbors, and this spirit of community shines brightly in St. Petersburg. Gayle Guyardo, host of the global health and wellness show Bloom, welcomed three inspiring women dedicated to supporting others in the wake of recent disasters: Sandy Bean, a familiar face on Bloom known as the “Saint Pete Girl Boss”; Monique Fields, founder of Black Girl Boss and co-lead of St. Pete Girl Boss; and Lisa Marone, owner of Peace in the Burg. Together, they discussed the challenges small businesses face during crises and the powerful role of community in recovery.
