In a bold and far-reaching law enforcement initiative, agents from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), and the Florida Department of Corrections (FDC) have made 27 arrests in just three days, following a massive crackdown on sexual offenders and predators across Hillsborough County. Dubbed “Operation Full Moon“, this extensive operation aimed to enforce compliance with Florida’s stringent sex offender registration laws.

According to the official release, officers made contact with 70 registrants living in the county, confirming whether they were adhering to the strict reporting requirements mandated by law. The operation uncovered several violations, leading to the arrest of 27 individuals.

Among those arrested was Jorge Caez, 46, who faces serious new charges of transmitting harmful material to a minor, along with multiple probation violations. Ankit Shingala, 25, was caught in possession of illegal drugs and ten counts of violating his probation conditions.
