TAMPA, Fla. – It’s been a busy first 24 hours of 2025 for Tampa-area law enforcement as agencies are investigating multiple shootings. Just more than an hour before the start of the new year, a security officer was shot while Tampa police said he tried to break out a fight involving minors.
