TAMPA, Florida — Tampa Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire on the 2900 block of W. Wallcraft Avenue yesterday afternoon. A single-story detached garage and two vehicles were engulfed in flames, but all residents had safely exited before firefighters arrived.Firefighters used several hose lines to control the blaze from the exterior of the home, extinguishing the fire within approximately 15 minutes, according to Tampa Fire Rescue. A primary and secondary search confirmed no residents were inside the structure. During operations, one firefighter sustained a minor injury and was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
