Florida deputies arrest man accused of impersonating TSA agent, using red and blue lights

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A man arrested Tuesday in Hillsborough County is accused of impersonating a federal agent and using unauthorized emergency lights, according to the sheriff’s office.

Body-worn camera video shared Wednesday to social media by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office shows the arrest of Glenn Ross, 67, who was placed in the back of a patrol vehicle during a traffic stop before 2 p.m. along northbound Interstate 75 near U.S. Highway 301.

Ross is accused of driving a vehicle with unauthorized emergency lights and a spotlight, as well as falsely identifying himself as a federal agent — allegedly displaying a fraudulent TSA badge — despite not having a federal employment history, the post states…
