My husband and I bought into the “living the dream” notion when we purchased our home here in 2014. In The Villages, you can live out your dreams … or so we thought.
I am a part of the Villages Cheerleaders performing group and I love it. I was never a cheerleader in high school or college; I was just too shy. But in The Villages, you can be anything you want to be and can participate in anything that brings you happiness. Here, I can be a cheerleader; you just have to be willing to put in the time and effort. I LOVE being part of this fabulous group of ladies and cherish the camaraderie we share.
I can’t help but wonder why management believes ending these performing groups is beneficial…
