Residents forced to evacuate Clearwater condo allowed to retrieve belongings

CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) — Dozens of residents who were forced to evacuate from a condo in Clearwater will be able to briefly return for their belongings.

The South Beach Condominiums have been under repair since Tuesday after inspectors found a major crack in one of the building’s support pillars.

Over the weekend, the residents will be allowed back inside their condos for emergency access. They will be allowed 15 minutes to go inside and get everything they may need…
