Teen arrested for bringing stun gun to Florida high school

RUSKIN, Fla. — A 15-year-old girl was arrested after deputies said she brought a stun gun with her to Lennard High School in Ruskin.

The incident happened on Wednesday, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release. School administrators reportedly received a tip that the girl had the weapon with her on campus.

Deputies said school officials conducted a search before finding the purple stun gun in the teen’s purse. She was charged with one count of possession of a weapon on school grounds…
