Hillsborough County Announces “Fight the Blight” Cleanup in Del Rio and Dover from May 19-23

According to an announcement on the Hillsborough County official newsroom, residents can put their bulky items out for curbside collection from May 19 to May 23. They’re hauling away old furniture, electronics, and even metal debris, but remember, no hazardous materials or commercial tires in this haul.

On pickup days, all items must hit the curbside by 5 a.m., but placing them out the night before is a bright move. It covers non-commercial tires, capped at five per resident, alongside a mix of junk and assorted debris cluttering up your space. Just make sure that you live within the designated areas: Del Rio’s boundaries span from Porpoise Drive and Sligh Avenue to North 50th Street and Trout Street, while Dover encompasses the zone between Blackjack Road and East Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, flanked by Bethlehem Road and Lindsey Street…
