Tampa Bay’s culinary scene is about to get even more flavorful, as Curry Leaves, one of the area’s most celebrated Indian restaurants, prepares to open its third location at 204 Westshore Plaza. Slated to open before the end of July, the new spot will double down on what the restaurant does best: authentic Indian cuisine that has garnered fans from across the country.
For owners Saji Mathew and Sibi Molley, the decision to expand was all about meeting demand. “About a year ago, we got eight awards,” says Mathew. “We provide some of the best food—authentic. We’re getting people from all over the United States.”
Among their accolades are Best of the Bay, People’s Choice from the Tampa Bay Times, and the Quality Business Award. The success is well-earned, as their vibrant flavors, traditional techniques, and dedication to quality have made Curry Leaves a must-visit for foodies and locals alike.
More space, more options at the new Curry Leaves
The new location at Westshore Plaza will be the largest Curry Leaves yet, boasting nearly 8,000 square feet, over double the size of their South Tampa restaurant. This expanded footprint means shorter wait times for diners, a recurring issue at their other locations due to high demand.
