The 160th anniversary of Juneteenth is approaching, and one of our favorite markets is throwing a fitting celebration for the occasion. Saturday Shoppes is hosting Black Wall Shoppes this Saturday, June 21, bringing a massive Juneteenth celebration to St. Pete’s historic Deuces Live District.
The free, family-friendly festival takes place outdoors from 2-8 pm at 833 22nd Street South. Black Wall Shoppes is set to be an incredible showcase of local artisans, featuring live entertainment, amazing food, a sprawling market, tons of kids activities, and pet-friendly fun – a true celebration of community, creativity, and togetherness.
The main stage will be the center of attention as the festival welcomes The Beat Down Band, one of the area’s most electric groups, who will perform a free concert on the festival grounds, joined by a stellar group of opening acts.
Alongside the live performances, tons of Tampa Bay’s most popular chefs and food trucks will be in attendance dishing up greats throughout the celebration. Anyone who RSVPs in advance will be entered to win a $25 food voucher to use at the festival…
